TITLE:

Sales and Leadership Development Manager - Direct Sales

THE COMPANY:

Industry leading designer and direct seller of innovative cookware, bakeware, dining accessories, packaged food products and unique home accents. This well respected and highly successful party plan company is expanding itís field sales management team.

THE POSITION:

The person selected will be responsible for the development, mentoring and the overall business activity of sales leaders in their respective sales territories. Mission will be to develop new markets in key geographic areas and to build business while supporting strategic company objectives. The focus will be to train, manage, promote and retain successful independent sales consultants. Sales development tools will be honed to target and enhance publicity, advertising and orientation programs. Will create new business in untapped markets by advertising, holding opportunity nights and home parties and by working closely with grass roots and local organizations. Will set specific and measurable recruiting, promotion and sales goals. Will collaborate with internal partners to conduct focus groups and other research oriented testing to measure effectiveness of training programs and materials.Will drive sales activity to attain sales goals and communicate results to field sales organization and senior management team. Will strive to continually maintain status as a World Class Service Organization.

THE CANDIDATE:

Requires a BSBA along with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in managing an independent sales force in the party plan business. Effective public speaking skills, and the experience in preparing and presenting business plans and initiatives is a must. This key, highly visible opportunity requires a proven leader who is an excellent communicator who can coach and inspire others to achieve their unlimited sales potential and personal and career goals.

COMPENSATION:

An attractive salary plus bonus is provided along with a comprehensive employee benefits package. Relocation not required. Extensive travel required.
