TITLE:

National Sales Manager-Consumer Goods - Boston

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a well established highly successful European based company with a market leading brand. Continued business expansion in North America requires the addition of an experienced Sales professional to be based at their North American Boston headquarters to sell baby accessories to leading grocery and drugstores in the US and Canadian markets.

THE POSITION:

The selected candidate will be charged with the development and implementation of the sales and account management programs to maximize the penetration of sales and profit potential for the growing national grocery and drugstore market. Will create and present new product concepts, develop promotional strategies and execute effective sales programs throughout the US and Canadian grocery and drugstore markets. Will keep current with market trends and competition while increasing customer lifetime value by building strong relationships with key buying professionals and by working effectively with the local and global marketing team. The person selected will travel to key accounts, industry trade shows, and headquarters for product sessions, and sales meetings. This exceptional career opportunity reports to the VP of Sales.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate must be an energetic self-reliant sales manager with a BSBA and several years of progressive national accounts or key accounts experience, selling to the leaders in the grocery and drugstore market. Must offer a proven record of achievement maximizing product sales and the profit potential for branded products. Leadership and communication skills are a requirement along with tested negotiating and sales management experience. Must be a visionary with a penchant for selling innovative and unique products.
